We hope each of you, your families and homes are safe and sound with the passage of Hurricane Isaac.  We understand the personal challenges Hurricane Isaac has presented and hope everyone’s lives return to normal as soon as possible.  Many of you have worked remotely throughout the storm monitoring communications and handling shipments as needed to ensure customer’s were properly serviced.  Your efforts and actions reflect the true nature and spirit of J.W. Allen & Company.  Thank You All so very much for your personal sacrifices and contributions during this trying time. 

Although our office remains without power as of the posting of this notice, we are planning for and anticipating a return to normal business operations on Tuesday morning September 4th at 8:30 am.  Although the Labor Day holiday is Monday September 3rd, all employees are requested to report to the office Monday morning to restore the office and individual workstations to their normal working setup and conditions.  Employees will also be asked to perform a review of all files to prioritize responsibilities while identifying and addressing any matters requiring immediate attention.

Dress casual and come early as Monday’s focus is solely geared to enabling us to hit the ground running Tuesday morning September 4th.   We anticipate this will only take a few hours and appreciate your cooperation in this regard.
